About Bookly

Bookly makes it effortless to share your time — without the back-and-forth emails.

Our mission

We built Bookly because scheduling shouldn't be hard. Whether you're a nurse coordinating patient appointments, a trainer managing group sessions, or a salon owner handling walk-ins, your calendar should work for you — not the other way around.

Bookly gives you a personalised booking link you can share anywhere. Your clients pick a time that works for them; Bookly handles the rest: confirmations, reminders, and calendar sync.

What you get

  • A shareable booking page at bookly.io/you
  • Multiple event types — training, school, work, hospital, in-person
  • Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams links generated automatically
  • Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar sync
  • Automated email reminders to reduce no-shows
  • Availability rules and buffer time between meetings

Who uses Bookly

From student nurses booking placement check-ins to salon owners running a full appointment diary — Bookly works for any professional who values their time.

Bookly

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bookly free to use?

Yes — Bookly's core features are completely free, including your booking page, unlimited event types, and email confirmations. We offer a Pro plan for advanced features like payment collection, custom branding, and team scheduling.

Do my clients need a Bookly account to book with me?

No. Your clients visit your public booking link, pick a time, fill in their details, and receive a confirmation email — no account or download required on their end.

Which calendars does Bookly sync with?

Bookly connects with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple Calendar. It reads your existing events to block out busy times and writes new bookings directly to your calendar.

Can I accept payments for bookings?

Yes. With the Pro plan you can require a deposit or full payment via Stripe before a booking is confirmed. This is especially useful for salon appointments, training sessions, and consultations.

How do I set my availability?

Go to the Availability section in your admin panel. You can set working hours by day, add date-specific overrides (holidays, days off), and configure buffer time between appointments.

Can I have multiple event types?

Yes — as many as you need. Each event type can have its own duration, location (Zoom, Google Meet, in-person), description, and availability rules. You might have a 20-minute intro call and a 60-minute training session as separate event types.

Will my clients receive reminders?

Yes. Bookly sends an automatic confirmation email when a booking is made and a reminder 24 hours before the appointment. You can customise the timing and content in Workflows.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Both you and your client can cancel or request a reschedule from the confirmation email. You control whether to allow rescheduling and how much notice is required.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We never sell your data or your clients' data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I contact support?

Email us at support@bookly.io or use the in-app chat. We typically respond within one business day.
